The ATA Gear holster for the APS is an inside-the-waistband (IWB) holster for concealed carry, made of Kydex. The rigid molding ensures a precise fit and stable retention of the pistol by locking it into the distinctive recesses of the holster body. At the same time, draw remains fast and controlled: the holster does not “lose its shape” over time and retains its form even with daily use.
Adjusting the Carry Angle and Retention
The mounting system allows you to change the angle of the holster on your belt—this helps you find the most comfortable fit for your clothing and body type. Additionally, retention can be adjusted: you can set a tighter grip for active movement or a looser grip for everyday carry. In practice, it’s best to adjust the holster so that it holds the pistol securely when bending or walking, but doesn’t require excessive effort to draw.
Belts up to 45 mm and concealed carry
The holster is designed for belts up to 4 and 4.5 cm wide (with interchangeable clips). For best results, we recommend using a stiff belt: it reduces holster movement and improves stability while wearing. The inside-the-waist design helps minimize the “bulge” under clothing, especially if you choose the right position on the belt (on the side or closer to the front—whichever is more comfortable).

Kydex is a thermoplastic that combines rigidity, dimensional stability, and resistance to temperature fluctuations. It does not absorb moisture, is easy to clean, and is well-suited for everyday use. That’s why the ATA Gear holster for the APS remains neat and practical even with regular wear.
