The main purpose of the holster is to carry a pistol on a belt. The pistol is held securely in the holster thanks to the plastic being fixed in specific recesses in the pistol, while the flexibility of the holster material allows the pistol to be removed. The holster is molded for the Heckler & Koch VP9 pistol, but is also suitable for the VP40, VP9SK, P30, P30SK, and SFP9 models.
Kydex is a thermoplastic material based on an acrylic polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound, characterized by high impact and fracture resistance, as well as resistance to high and low temperatures. It is manufactured only in the United States.
